We serve up BBQ ONLY on Saturdays—because tradition deserves its spotlight—but the rest of the week, our menu takes you on a flavorful journey through New American comfort food with a global twist. Our Story
Family Owned and Operated, The Smokin Hen House was established in 2019 to bring Ranch Style grub to the Southwest. With our Texas Style Barbecue, we add our own flare to classic Texas barbecue and American Cuisine to bring a unique twist on barbecue the Southwest has never seen. Ranging from our slow smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Ribs, Tri- Tip, Chicken, and Sausages to our Barbecue Goodies such as our Texas Twankie, Chicken Bomb, Twisted Pickle, BBQ Parfait, and BBQ Ramen to our unique mouthwatering Burger Creations. Nestled on the Lower Colorado River in Yuma, Arizona, inside the Hidden Shores Resort, our Family brings you unique style American Cuisine and Barbecue that you won't want to miss!
The Cluckin’ Hen House is the spirited little sister (well, actually the sassy Mamaw) to The Smokin’ Hen House—and don’t be fooled by the name. This isn’t just a BBQ joint. In fact, we only fire up the barbecue on Saturdays… but you’ll still find our smoked meats woven into dishes that flip tradition on its head. This is where comfort food gets a glow‑up, and southern hospitality comes with a wink and a hot biscuit.
