Our Story

Christian Family Owned and Operated, The Smokin Hen House was established in 2019 to bring Ranch Style grub to the Southwest. With our Texas Style Barbecue, we add our own flare to classic Texas barbecue to bring a unique twist on barbecue the Southwest has never seen. Ranging from our slow smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Ribs, Tri-Tip, Chicken, and Sausages to our Barbecue Goodies such as our Texas Twankie, Chicken Bomb, Twisted Pickle, BBQ Parfait, and BBQ Pita to our unique mouthwatering Burger Creations. Nestled on the Lower Colorado River in Yuma, Arizona, inside the Hidden Shores Resort, our Family brings you unique style American food and Barbecue that you won't want to miss!

The Smokin Hen House is also the only restaurant in Yuma that has two food trailers to accommodate the numerous events held in Yuma and all around Arizona. We come out to events ranging from Flagstaff to Tucson to Phoenix to Prescott. We also serve to Southern California! During the Summer we take out our Pontoon Boat to serve our food out on the River and on the Sandbars!
